New Jersey Supreme Court Justice Michael Noriega will highlight two programs at the Meadowlands Seminar 2023.

Noriega, who was sworn in as a justice in July, will speak on The Lincoln Lawyer: The Plight of the Private Practitioner program at 9:30 am on Friday, November 17 right after the Judicial Perspectives program.

The justice will also be the keynote speaker at the Minority Trial Lawyers Caucus Luncheon at 12:00 noon the same day.

“We are very excited that Justice Noriega is able to join us and share his insights with us,” said Adam D. Lederman, Esq., chair of the NJAJ Educational Foundation, which is producing the Meadowlands Seminar 2023.

Justice Noriega was appointed to the bench by Gov. Philip Murphy.

When he was appointed, Justice Noriega was a partner at Bramnick, Rodriguez, Grabas, Arnold & Mangan, where he specialized in immigration and criminal law. He also was an adjunct professor at Seton Hall School of Law and served as chair of the immigration law section of the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Before joining Bramnick, Rodriguez, Grabas, Arnold & Mangan, Justice Noriega operated his own law firm, Noriega & Associates, where he practiced immigration and criminal law. He began his legal career as an assistant public defender in Essex County.

He received his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and earned his Juris Doctorate from the Seton Hall University School of Law.
