New Jersey Director of Workers’ Compensation and Chief Judge Maria Del Valle Koch will headline the Workers’ Compensation program at the Meadowlands Seminar 2023.
“We are very pleased and honored that the director will be joining us at the Meadowlands Seminar,” said Jeffrey S. Monaghan, Esq., one of the co-chairs of the Workers’ Compensation program.
Del Valle Koch will speak on the State of the Division at 9:00 am on Thursday, November 16, at the start of the daylong program.
“We expect that one of the areas she will touch on is the length of time it takes to address and satisfy New jersey Medicaid and what can possibly be done streamline this process,,” said Monaghan, who is co-chairing the program with Ricky E. Bagolie, Esq., Steven H. Cohen, Esq., Joyce A. Parisi, Esq. and John M. Pinho, Esq.
Other highlights of the program include Workers’ Compensation Judge Michael J. Dillon speaking on The History of Workers’ Compensation and Its Impact on Today’s Practice and Dr. Andrew G. Kaufman speaking on Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.
Another speaker will be Dr. Mark E. Studin, who will be discussing medical issues and issues concerning establishing the age of a herniated disc and whether the cause is preexisting or traumatic in nature.
“We will be covering many important and timely topics in the seminar and we look forward to having a full house,” Monaghan said.
Workers’ Compensation is one of 20 programs on tap at the Meadowlands Seminar 2023, which takes place Wednesday – Friday, November 15 – 17 at the Hilton Meadowlands Hotel in East Rutherford, NJ.
