Former NJAJ President Michael G. Donahue, III, Esq. received the 2022 Professional Lawyer of the Year Award from the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law.
Donahue was honored as NJAJ’s recipient of the award, which is presented to lawyers selected by county and specialty bar associations in New Jersey during an awards luncheon on Thursday, July 12.
“Michael Donahue is extremely deserving of this award,” said NJAJ President Patricia M. Giordano, Esq. “It is important that your accomplishments be honored.”
Two other NJAJ members received the Professional Lawyer of the Year Award through other bar associations.
They are:
- Steven K. Johnson, Esq. – Atlantic County Bar Association; and
- Michael J. Gaffney, Esq. – Cumberland County Bar Association.
The award is presented annually by the commission to lawyers who:
- Are noted for outstanding character;
- Have a commitment to the highest ideals of the profession; and
- Have both bar and community involvement.
