The NJAJ Turkey Drive is officially underway.
For the 17th consecutive year, we are conducting the Turkey Drive to raise money to purchase Thanksgiving turkeys for food banks throughout New Jersey.
This year more than ever, the need for generous contributions is obvious. The COVID-19 pandemic has harmed tens of thousands in our state.
We are the lucky ones with the ability to help out.
As the English author and philosopher John Bunyan put it, “You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.”
We should all live today and give generously to help those in need because it is the right thing to do.
As you can see on the website, we are conducting the Turkey Drive on a regional basis, raising money for food banks in the Northern, Central and Southern regions of New Jersey.
Thanks to all of the Co-Chairs for taking on this effort.
Thanksgiving may be very different for all of us this year but let us work to help prevent those in need from going without. Please be as generous as you can.
