The NJAJ Annual Election was held on April 29, 2026, during the Membership Meeting that took place at the Boardwalk Seminar® 2026 at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City.

The 2025-2026 slate of  NJAJ Officers and National Representatives elected at the meeting is as follows:

• Richard J. Albuquerque, Esq. — President

• Diane L. Cardoso, Esq. — President‑Elect

• K. Raja Bhattacharya, Esq. — First Vice President

• Deborah S. Dunn, Esq. — Second Vice President and Diversity Officer

• Jared M. Placitella, Esq. — Third Vice President

• Melissa M. Baxter, Esq. — Treasurer

• Jacquelyn R. Matchett, Esq. — Secretary

• Christine V. Lafferty, Esq. — Assistant Secretary

• William Wright, Esq. — Parliamentarian

• Kathleen M. Reilly, Esq. — State Delegate

• Judie A. Saunders, Esq. — AAJ Minority Caucus Representative

President-Elect Richard J. Albuquerque, Esq. becomes President automatically under the election procedures of NJAJ.

Albuquerque and the 2026-2027 officers and national representatives will be sworn in during the NJAJ Installation Dinner on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Caesars Atlantic City in Atlatic City, NJ.
