A. 2022

Q. Why did you join NJAJ?
A. I was drawn to NJAJ because the programming offers practical, useable tips that I can immediately apply in my practice. The seminars go beyond theory and focus on real-world strategies that make a difference. I also value NJAJ’s consistent involvement in legislative efforts, because that’s where we can effectuate real, meaningful change for people.

Q. Why did you become involved in the WTLC?
A. Becoming involved with the WTLC felt organic and almost inevitable. Women in the legal profession face unique challenges, and it made sense to align myself with like-minded women who understand those experiences. This alignment is highlighted by the fact that I am the co-founder of a woman owned and operated law firm and proudly lead a team of diverse, dynamic and talented women. The WTLC provides not only a space for support and mentorship, but also a platform to amplify our collective voice within the profession.

Q. Who is your favorite fictional legal character?
A. Vincent Gambini, supported, of course, by the incomparable Mona Lisa Vito.

Q. Why did you become a lawyer?
A. From a young age, I loved advocating for myself and others and finding ways to persuade people to see things from my perspective. I have always had a strong sense of justice and fairness, right versus wrong. Plus, I have never been shy about talking!

Q. What's your favorite quote?
A. “You cannot control what happens to you, but you can control your attitude towards what happens to you, and in that, you will be mastering change rather than allowing it to master you.” -Brian Tracy
