The Women Trial Lawyers Caucus has scheduled four WTLC Roundtable events where attorneys can seek input and share insights on cases.
“Our past roundtables have been very productive and informative” said Rachel A. Placitella, Esq., one of the WTLC co-chairs. “This is a way for attorneys to gather and discuss individual cases and get views from other lawyers.”
The WTLC Roundtable events are held through Zoom and open to all NJAJ Regular Members.
The first WTLC Roundtable event will take place Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 4:00 pm.
The roundtable event will allow attendees to:
- Get feedback on an upcoming mediation;
- Get feedback on the value of a case;
- Get feedback on whether you should take a particular case; and
- Get feedback on effective strategies, i.e., exhibits, positions to take, arguments to make.
The roundtable is a free event open to all NJAJ Regular Members. A Regular Member is an attorney who, for the most part, represents the plaintiff in personal injury cases.
The other Roundtable events will take place at 4:00 pm on:
- Wednesday, January 7, 2026;
- Wednesday, March 4, 2026; and
- Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
The WTLC co-chairs are Christine V. Lafferty, Esq., Jacquelyn R. Matchett, Esq., Michelle C. Murtha, Esq., Rachel A. Placitella, Esq. and Chinsu Shajan, Esq.
Although registration for this event is limited to NJAJ Regular members, some firms have mixed practices, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. You should exercise caution when discussing open case files.
