I would be remiss if I didn't thank all of you for attending the Boardwalk Seminar 2025 last month. It was a huge success with 29 programs, 277 speakers, 243 exhibit booths, and more than 1,600 registrants.
Thank you to all attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and the NJAJ staff for a terrific event.
Have you registered yet for NJAJ's inaugural Family Day, scheduled for this Saturday, May 31, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Roosevelt Park in Edison, NJ? Registration is still open. Bring your families and friends and join us for a day filled with fun, games, food, and activities.
Quickly following Family Day is the next Women Trial Lawyers Caucus Roundtable, scheduled for Wednesday, June 4, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. This is a free event open to all regular members. Join other women trial lawyers as they discuss cases and strategies.
Later in June the Educational Foundation presents the EDDM 2025: Exposing Deceptive Defense Medicine. It is taking place on Wednesday, June 25, from 12:00 pm to 5:30 pm at The Palace in Somerset, NJ.
In addition to the EDDM program for the Auto Practitioner this year's program will also feature a five-house CLE event for the Medical Malpractice practitioner. Part of the attraction to both programs is the collection of depositions, reports, cv's and video depositions of defense doctors.
This program is held every two years and provides a wealth of information and techniques NJAJ regular members can use when deposing or examining defense doctors and expert witnesses.
Registrants will receive materials containing transcripts of DME depositions, redacted reports of defense experts and video depositions of defense expert doctors.
The seminar co-chairs are asking all NJAJ members to submit reports or transcripts of depositions or trials within the last two years to headquarters so they can be included in the EDDM 2025 materials. Personal information should be redacted from reports.
