Carly Trochtenberg is an Associate Litigation Attorney at Costello Mains & Silverman, LLC and focuses her practice on employment matters, civil rights claims, and personal injury cases. She graduated from Monmouth University and earned her J.D. from Rutgers Law School in Camden, NJ. Carly was born and raised in South Jersey and enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her cat, Phoebe.

Q: What year did you join NJAJ?
A: 2023

Q: Why did you join NJAJ?
A: I joined NJAJ to coordinate with other attorneys and professionals, to assist in preserving and progressing the important laws that protect individual's rights, to continue learning and advancing my litigation skills, and to network with the business partners who make our day-to-day easier. 

Q: Why did you become involved in the WTLC?
A: I became involved  the WTLC to collaborate with women trial lawyers and join a support system for women in this field in order to develop relationships and grow both personally and professionally. 

Q: What is your favorite book?
A: I'm currently hooked on the Housemaid series by Frieda McFadden, but really, anything by Frieda McFadden is fantastic. 

Q: What do you like to do in your free time? 
A: In my free time, I like to paint and make digital drawings.
