1. How does your company help trial lawyers?
Premier Vocational Experts’ highly experienced and credentialed vocational and life care plan experts, Brian Daly, and Teresa Hearn, are local to the tri-state area, personable, accessible, compassionate, and dedicated. As vocational rehabilitation counselors, their reports help trial lawyers quantify the vocational losses that their clients may experience due to a reduction or total loss in earning capacity. Brian and Teresa can also build Medical Cost Projections or a Life Care Plan which gives a detailed assessment of the cost of care that will be required for the remainder of their life.

Some attorneys require an assessment of future care needs (Medical Cost Projection or Life Care Plan), as well as a Vocational Evaluation assessing an evaluee’s earning capacity for their case. Household Services evaluations can also be performed which assess what the individual who is injured can no longer do for their family. This quantifies the loss of services the injured individual previously provided for their family. Brian and Teresa are qualified to conduct both types of assessments, and research and prepare reports for your client. Accordingly, they can also testify, if called to do so.

Our experts are especially familiar with the needs of individuals with disabilities and are equipped to author life care plans for individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries, amputations, strokes, Multiple Sclerosis, soft tissues injuries, spinal cord injuries and various other conditions and disabilities.

Cases requiring a vocational assessment range from personal injury, injury or loss of life (including an infant or child), employment law, matrimonial, wrongful death, to medical malpractice. 2. How is NJAJ important to you?
Having been an ardent support of all things NJAJ, our PVE team has been participating in just about every offering NJAJ has. This statewide organization is unparalleled in terms of engagement, bringing attorneys and legal vendor partners together in highly satisfying arenas and activities. By continuing to sponsor and exhibit at NJAJ events, our stature has grown in leaps and bounds and many attorneys depend on seeing us at our booths and various functions, and relationships are cemented over the years. When we meet an attorney for the first time, it may be a year or two before they need our services, but we are assured that if we keep showing up, so will our future clients! Clearly, we can’t say enough how grateful we are for the NJAJ team that serves up such great events and experiences. Their kindness, professionalism, humor and up-to-date educational CLE offerings can’t be beat.
