Nominations for NJAJ officers for the 2024-2025 year are being sought.
Any NJAJ member who wishes to be placed under consideration must fill out the online candidate intake form.
If you would like to recommend another NJAJ member for consideration, please submit your nomination by email to info@nj-justice.org.
Nominations can be made for NJAJ officers, which are:
• President-Elect;
• 1st Vice President;
• 2nd Vice President and Diversity Officer;
• 3rd Vice President;
• Treasurer;
• Secretary;
• Assistant Secretary;
• Parliamentarian;
• State Delegate; and
• AAJ Minority Caucus Representative.
The deadline for all nominations is Thursday, February 15, 2024.
Under the NJAJ By-Laws the Nominating Committee has been formed, which will present a slate of officers for election to NJAJ members 30 days prior to the Annual Election, which will be held at 9:00 am, Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City, NJ.
In addition, the By-Laws provide that any member may be nominated to run for office in the election by petition signed by 25 members in good standing. Any petitions must be submitted to the Nominating Committee on or before April 8, 2024.
