The event takes place on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at The Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset, NJ following the Winter Seminar that day.
- There will be two recipients of the Gold Medal for Distinguished Service, NJAJ’s highest award. The recipients are:
- Michael G. Donahue, III, Esq.; and
- Jeffrey S. Monaghan, Esq.
- The Gold Medal for Distinguished Journalism will go to Susan K. Livio and Ted Sherman of NJ Advance Media and nj.com for their coverage of nursing and veterans homes and the rights of residents of those facilities.
- The Gerald B. O’Connor Award will be presented to:
- Thomas L. Bell, Jr., Esq.;
- Tracey C. Hinson, Esq.;
- Kenneth S. Javerbaum, Esq.; and
- Alan Roth, Esq.
- The NJAJ Meyer-Segal Award will be presented to Rachel A. Placitella, Esq.
- Kevin M. Costello, Esq. will be honored as NJAJ's recipient of the Professional Lawyer of the Year Award, which is presented by the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law.
- NJAJ's Amicus Advocates who have handled cases decided since last year’s Awards Dinner will be honored at the event.
