Two New Jersey Supreme Court Committees have updated the state’s model jury charges for civil and criminal cases.

The revised model jury charges took effect in November when two Notices to the Bar were published announcing the changes.

The Supreme Court Committee on Model Criminal Jury Charges issued its update on November 13, 2023.

The Supreme Court Committee on Model Civil Jury Charges issued its update on November 17, 2023.

Both updates took effect the day they were published.
